lines using state of the art technology, Magtech's .45 ACP ammunition is a
great choice for high volume shooters. This load uses the traditional 230 grain
full metal jacket bullet, achieving muzzle velocities of about 837 feet per second.
Each box holds 50 rounds in Boxer-primed reloadable brass cases.

Q: Our local indoor range doesn't allow 45 cal unless the round is unjacketed lead at 830 fpm or less. Do any of the manufacturers suppliy something like this for target practice? Thanks, Dennis

A: That is an interesting restriction. Ammo such as that will be difficult to find in a factory load for 45 ACP. 45 Colt revolver ammo for cowboy action shooting would meet those requirements, but will not fit or function in a 45 ACP handgun. Almost all 45 ammo is jacketed and exits the muzzle at 850fps or more.
