The flexibility of the plastic makeup is what allows this ammunition container to be so durable and long-lasting, polypropylene is the same material that vehicle dashboards and high quality outdoor furniture is made from. This durability allows for direct use in exposed sunlight for extended periods of time without the same degradation that you might find with lesser plastic compounds. It won’t rot or break in general environmental conditions (though extreme ends of the spectrum could cause distortion or breakage when combined with pressure).

The ammo can is capable of holding 500 rounds of .45ACP and a pair of shooting glasses. It could also hold 4 boxes of magnum shells for a 12 gauge. Rated for carrying weight of up to 20 pounds with the handle, without undue stress. This case can easily transport 25 pounds when held from the bottom as well. The locking mechanism and o ring are of high quality but offer water resistance only; it is not fully submersible.
