With great shortness comes a lighter shot column: 15/16 ounces, which comes out to 384 pellets of #8 shot. Still a lot of pellets, all things considered. This round’s 1,145 fps muzzle velocity isn’t unconventional for a target load, but you’re necessarily going to feel less recoil when you’re talking about such a light pile of lead shot.
