CCI Mini-Mag 22 LR ammunition delivers reliable functionality and stellar accuracy – but those aren’t the performance advantages which make this hunting cartridge so interesting. Its segmented hollow point bullet produces three separate wound channels immediately after arrival!
This round’s 40 grain copper-plated bullet feeds smooth and decelerates lead fouling. Loaded to a piping hot muzzle velocity of 1,235 fps, it cuts a straight path straight to its target. (It also creates plenty of chamber pressure to cycle a semi-auto.) When the nose cavity fills up with soft tissue, it forces the entire bullet to split apart longitudinally, sending three little lead spears in separate directions. Wreaks havoc inside a small critter’s body, that’s for sure.
CCI is America’s rimfire ammo specialist. Their primers are premium, and their propellant will leave noticeably less residue in your firearm than you’re accustomed to if you usually stick to the cheaper stuff. Good for pistols and rifles, and not wasted if you’re just having some target practice!
