Details

This 223 Rem cartridge from Aguila is a versatile little number. With its 55 grain full metal jacket projectile, it’s an economical way of getting the smooth functionality and clean shooting you need to enjoy a session of target shooting or plinking. With its 3,215 fps muzzle velocity it’s accurate enough to home in on small, distant targets, making it the bane of prairie dogs wherever you take your rifle. And although an FMJ isn’t optimized for self-defense, it would be ludicrous to suggest you that you couldn’t defend the castle with this ammo!

Founded in the early 1960s by Remington, Aguila’s world class loading techniques and attention to detail have made theirs a globally recognized brand -- their ammo is not only utilized by the Mexican military, but can be found from South America all the way to the Middle East. These rounds’ concentric brass casings, clean burning propellant, and snappy, non-corrosive primers are going to take great care of you and your rifle. Order a case today and see for yourself!

A: The bullets are composed of a lead core with a copper jacket. Steel is not used so this will not be attracted to a magnet. If you are shooting indoors with steel restrictions, this Aguila ammo is an excellent choice!

A: Correct. Aguila does not load their ammunition with any corrosive components. Additionally, their brass is boxer primed which may be used for reloading.
