Details
Do you do a lot of shooting? If so, that makes you our favorite kind of person. That’s why we offer this value-packed 223 Rem cartridge by Tula. It has a steel casing, so it’s far easier on the wallet than a brass cased round could ever have been, and the casing is coated with a thin layer of phosphate polymer to keep it from snagging while it cycles. To be sure, you’re not going to get any action out of such a casing at a reloading bench, especially given its obstinate Berdan primer -- but if you don’t care about handloading, then you’ll be hard pressed to find a downside to such a cartridge!
Although it’s casing is made of steel, this round’s 55 grain bullet is devoid of the metal, so ranges that have imposed a rule against steel won’t give you grief while you’re out to shoot some targets. The bullet has a full metal jacket, which is made of brass rather than copper. That means it’ll resist deformation remarkably well before it exits the muzzle at a velocity of nearly 3,000 fps, and it will cause only very little fouling as well.
