Details
Blazer is best known for their aluminum cased ammo, but they’re not specialized solely making to such rounds. Their Brass line of ammunition, appropriately, has brass casings. This 40 S&W round will let you enjoy the Idahoan manufacturer’s hard yet affordable work and still receive a choice handloading component afterward.
This cartridge features a 165 grain bullet. It offers all the advantages of a full metal jacket, but its jacket takes an extra measure by protecting the bullet’s base as well. That additional layer shields the leaden core from heat during ignition, which translates to healthier air for you to breathe in. It’s a great choice for an indoor range which tends to cork in air pollution.
This round’s brass casing houses a sensitive, non-corrosive Boxer primer, as well as a clean burning charge of smokeless powder. It’s a box of ammo that’s good for your pistol, good for your body, and good for your mind as well -- the part of it that is dedicated to shooting, at least.

I just got a Glock 22 searched web for prices for .40 S&W, which how I found BulkAmmo.com. I had fired the 180 gr FMJ in a range gun and check the energies for the 156 gr FMJ and ordered 1k case before I actually got my Glock. The product arrived to suburb of SEA in 6 cal days, and as described on web site. I fired 75 rnd at the range in my new Glock. I found it basically impossible to load up Glock mags in the Range Gun so I also ordered elsewhere a Uplula UP60, which made loading mags easy. I'd suggest BulkAmmo feature the loader next to low priced case lot of 9mm, .40S&W. I plan to fire about 75 rnd/month and then will reorder a low priced 1k cartridge from Bulk Ammo. I ordered a reloading set up but given cost of .40 S&W FMJ bullets, cases, plus powder & primers, I can't get the cost of reloading even close to BulkAmmo's price inc shipping on a per rnd basis. I will definitely reload my .41 Rem Mag Ruger Blackhawk due to cost, and I don't want to have to shoot only the high energy JHP. So, "I'll be back." (Posted on 7/13/2016)

Although the 165gr FMJ is not suitable for self defense, it is the same bullet weight as I use in my self defense loads, which are the Speer Gold Dot 165gr or Hornady Critical Defense 165gr. This purchase allows me to practice more since it shoots to nearly the same point of impact at typical combat ranges, and is far less expensive.
