Whether you’re engaging in the most intensive training program of your life in order to earn the skills you need to walk away from a violent altercation, or you’re just looking forward to relaxedly knocking some empty cans off of the sawhorse you’ve set up in your backyard, this 40 S&W cartridge by Magtech is going to do a heroic job for you. It’s equipped with a 165 grain bullet, which achieves a subsonic muzzle velocity for somewhat less obtrusive shooting. The non-expanding FMJ will feed smoothly and foul a bore very little, and its wide, flat meplat is especially nice for riddling a paper target when you’d like to score your shots without any guesswork.

This round’s balanced projectile is complemented by its brass casing, supple enough to not get stuck and to provide value to a handloader. I have to admit that I have at least 450 rounds of this through my M&P 40 and have had zero issues with it. One thing about it is everybody comments how loud this stuff it. They say it must be a HOT loaded ammo, but I wouldn't know but it is LOUD. (Posted on 2/24/2016)

the price is slightly better than competitive. Meaning, you'd have to look real hard to find better. The timing from order to delivery was barely over 24 hours. Crazy fast. I have 50 remaining out of 1000 rounds, and had like 5 or 6 won't shoot. At first I thought it was my SW MP 40 that had issue, but the guy at range used 3 other weapons including glock and it still won't fire. But overall it is a good training ammo. (Posted on 12/21/2015)
