Customer Reviews
Introduction:
Customer sentiment toward Blazer Brass .45 ACP is generally positive, with most users describing it as reliable and affordable target and practice ammunition. However, a small but consistent subset of reviewers note concerns about powder fouling, primer size for reloaders, and occasional feeding issues in specific firearms.

Detailed Analysis:
What Shooters Praise (The Pros)
The vast majority of users report flawless cycling without misfires, jams, or failures to feed in 1911s, Glocks, H&K, XD series, and carbines. Some isolated cases cite feeding problems and repeated jams in particular 1911 pistols and one FNX-45, but these are outliers among hundreds of rounds reported fired trouble-free.
Performance is widely regarded as solid for bulk-range ammo, with accurate and predictable results across different handguns. A few reviewers found the rounds slightly weaker than premium self-defense loads or mentioned sporadic feeding/tightness in certain guns, but these issues are not prevalent.
Pricing is a standout positive, regularly praised as being among the best available online and competitive even after factoring in quick shipping. Volume buyers and repeat customers often note exceptional overall value.
What to Know (The Nuances)
- Cleanliness is the most polarizing attribute: some users praise the ammo for burning as clean or cleaner than most practice rounds, while others (especially high-volume shooters) describe it as notably dirty, requiring more time to clean their firearms.
- Casing Material is brass, but with small primers. This is highlighted as a significant inconvenience for reloaders who expect large primers in .45 ACP brass – several complaints stress this point. Non-reloaders are unaffected.
- Occasional feeding issues are reported in some specific 1911 models and one FNX-45, but most pistols cycle the ammo flawlessly.
- Packaging and shipping receive consistently strong praise, with orders typically fulfilled quickly and products arriving in good condition.
- Some users found the rounds slightly underpowered compared to premium brands, but adequate for practice use.
Conclusion
Blazer Brass .45 ACP stands out as a dependable, cost-effective choice for high-volume shooters and those seeking economical range ammo. Its combination of reliability and value makes it attractive for practice sessions, though meticulous cleaners and seasoned reloaders may want to weigh repeated comments about small primer brass and mixed cleanliness feedback. For most recreational shooters, it’s a solid, recommended option that balances price and performance with only minor, situational drawbacks.

I have a 1911 and a Carbine and I have not had one misfire using these rounds, even in my 50 round drum for my carbine.
As for Bulk Ammo...always great service, ordered over the weekend and got my rounds today (Wed). (Posted on 4/20/2022)

I took two boxes of these and two boxes of American Eagle I had purchased locally to the local indoor range. To be honest, I had not a single problem from either, but I know that the American Eagle runs a little dirtier. I let my daughter use my Kimber to get her CCW, at the time, I only had the AE and when she returned it, It took a bit to get it clean to my satisfaction. Recently I went back to the range and only took the Blazer ammo, and when I got back home, I found that it didn't take as much to get it clean as it had with the AE.
I'd highly recommend this ammo and Bulk Ammo to anybody seeking the ammo they need for whatever weapon system they are running. (Posted on 1/21/2016)
