Tela Impex USA is headquartered in Hallandale Beach, FL, where it was founded by a highly decorated combat veteran with multiple warzone deployments.
This ammo was manufactured for Tela Impex in the nation of Azerbaijan (a former Soviet republic situated north of Iran). That includes a 124 grain full metal jacket projectile, which has a bimetal jacket and therefore will attract a magnet. Tela Impex 7.62x39 ammunition also features economical steel cases, which ought to cycle seamlessly through an AK or SKS but are no good as handloading components. This new production ammo’s Berdan primers are incapable of causing corrosion, so you won’t have to boil your rifle after range day!

Q: need to know it the bullet is steal or copper, the range that we shoot at does not allow metal bullets due to their target railing system. metal bullets may damage the rails.

A: Hi Kevin! Bullet has a bimetal jacket, which is predominantly made of steel. My advice is to avoid steel-cased 7.62x39 altogether, since it's almost exclusively loaded with magnetic projectiles (the few exceptions being clearly marked on their packaging). If you want great nonmagnetic 7.62x39, then I'd recommend Belom (I just pumped a bunch of this stuff through my own AK and it worked great): https://www.bulkammo.com/480-rounds-of-7-62x39-ammo-by-belom-123gr-fmj
