Details
Ammo Inc. Streak is like tracer ammunition. This 9mm cartridge’s 124 grain total metal jacket projectile will light up red as it streaks through the air – but it does not produce heat, and it’s no more likely to start a fire than any other normal bullet.
Is it magic? No – it is even better. It is technology. A luminescent dot is applied to the base of the TMJ, and that dot reflects red light when it is lit up by bright muzzle flash. The glowing bullet is clearly visible within 30º of the shooter’s point of view, so it won’t give away their position, and it makes the trajectory easy to see in low-light and indoor settings.
Take away its luminescent dot and you’ve still got a nice TMJ for target shooting. The TMJ’s comprehensive copper jacket prohibits propellant gasses from searing lead off its core. That’s great if you don’t enjoy inhaling lead or laboriously scouring it out of your barrel.
Normal brass cases and Boxer primers make Ammo Inc.’s American-made ammunition reloadable. Hyperclean Technology also makes its propellant exceptionally clean-burning, so you’ll be able to spend even less time cleaning after the light show.
