This cartridge takes care of business with a 115 grain bullet. Between its light weight and just barely supersonic muzzle velocity, the bullet is not poised to pound you with very much recoil. And because it’s a conventional full metal jacket, it will not ruin your plans if you bring it to a range that bans magnetic ammo!
Federal gives each of these range loads a noncorrosive Boxer primer, as well as a new brass case of their own creation. Don’t leave this ammo’s cases behind, because they’re worth their weight in gold as reloading components (well, technically they’re worth their weight in brass, but you get what we’re saying here).
