Details
We ran these USA Forged rounds through a Springfield XD the other day, and confirmed that, aside from their appearance, they differ in no way from the conventional brass cased stuff. These 9mm cartridges’ handsome steel casings let you enjoy Winchester’s signature craftsmanship for but a fraction of the cost!
This round’s casing zips in and out of a pistol’s chamber with ease thanks to Winchester’s proprietary low friction surface treatment, and unlike many steel cased European rounds has got a Boxer primer rather than a Berdan. A USA Forged round is marvelous for range training, as its affordable 115 grain projectile keeps recoil at a comfortable minimum and wears a jacket to optimize its functionality in a semi-automatic.
If you can resist your urge to handload, you’re going to get exceptional value out of this ammo. And it’s easy as pie to clean up its ferrous casings with a magnet!
