No one appreciates the great outdoors quite so much as the hunter. After all, there’s really no place else where you can go hunting! That’s why many of us feel guilty about depositing several empty hulls and wads across the wilderness where we take our birds – but BioAmmo has made that guilt obsolete.
This 12 Gauge shotshell’s hull and wad are unique in that they are 100 percent compostable, meaning that microbes in the soil will eat them until they are gone in about two years. Due to the relatively long time to decompose, please pick up your shells where possible to keep the wilderness litter free. The proprietary vegetable based biopolymer they are made from is every bit as sturdy as plastic, so you won’t be sacrificing performance when you choose BioAmmo for hunting. You’ll just be treating fungi and bacteria to a free lunch!
This shell’s #8 shot is made out of hard lead, so it resists flat spotting as it is propelled to a supersonic muzzle velocity. BioAmmo’s biopolymer wad is hinged at the base to help absorb some recoil, and it reliably fans out to ensure clean detachment from its shot for an consistently dense pattern. This environmentally-friendly Spanish-made ammo is non-corrosive and clean-burning – your shotgun will stay clean just like the environment you’re hunting in.
BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
