Bonded 223 Rem ammunition, that is. This round’s 62 grain bullet features a fused-together copper jacket and lead core. High-velocity impact with flesh or a barrier does little to pry the bonded bullet’s components apart, which is why it conserves the weight and momentum it needs in order to dig out a deep wound channel. The pointed soft point is also an expanding bullet, so it hollows out the wide permanent wound cavity that’ll drop a pig or Bambi (or a threat) right where it stands.
