Details
This 224 Valkyrie cartridge from Hornady’s BLACK line of ammunition is fitted with the Nebraskan manufacturer’s exceedingly accurate 75 grain BTHP projectile. The bullet’s boat tail design noticeably increases its ballistic coefficient, and as the result improves its ability to shrug off wind drift, lets it deliver a flat trajectory, and improves its ability to retain its velocity downrange. This bullet’s hollow point meplat may have a slightly lesser ballistic coefficient than a pointed one would, but its lesser sensitivity to wind deflection makes it perfect for scoring bull’s-eyes.
BLACK ammo is designed to work without issue in any black gun, regardless of how it operates. You can count on this round’s select brass casing to cycle flawlessly though your semi-automatic, and also its primer to always deliver reliable ignition. This round’s propellant is specially formulated to deliver a consistent muzzle velocity of 3,000 fps, giving its bullet the supersonic pep it needs to positively hurtle downrange.
