Hunting deer with a 243 Win rifle isn’t for everyone. You’ve got to have an adventurous spirit, steady nerves, and a limbic system that can handle scads of excitement. Oh – and you also need 243 Win ammo, too!
Look no further than Aguila. This cartridge is loaded with a true deer-slayer of a projectile: the 100 grain soft point boat tail. It has the mass and resultant momentum requisite for taking medium game. It has the copper jacket and lead tip which inflict a deep wound column and terminal expansion, respectively. It also has a tapered base which promotes a flatter, more wind resistant trajectory – as well as higher striking energy.
Aguila loads this ammo in the same factory responsible their famous rimfire ammunition. No rimfire primers here, of course; just the noncorrosive Boxer primers which light up exactly when a rifle’s firing pin instructs them to. Aguila’s brass is always new, never reloaded – not match grade, but certainly deserving of any handloader’s efforts.
