If you’re looking for 270 Win ammo with lead-free bullets, look no further. But what if you’re looking for 270 Win ammo with extremely accurate lead-free bullets that kill deer deader than disco? Again, look no further. You’ve found the Barnes VOR-TX Long Range!

This cartridge’s LRX BT bullet is all copper with the exception of its sleek polymer tip. Alongside its boat tail, pressure-relieving grooves, and virtually total absence of flaws in its rotational stability, the LRX BT has everything it needs to attain a G7 ballistic coefficient of 0.229. By Barnes’ own measure, the 129 grain bullet’s trajectory will dip just -6” 100 yards downrange of its 200-yard zero.

Long-range accuracy is just the LRX BT’s first trick. Its second is devastating terminal ballistics. A monolithic bullet is durable by design, and cannot undergo core/jacket fragmentation that would have limited its penetration depth. The LRX BT’s polymer tip also conceals a long nose cavity. The deeper it forces its way inward, the longer the four knife-like petals it forces outward become.

Nickel-plated brass cases. Nice touch! They help keep the ammo from getting spotty with corrosion while it's exposed to damp weather, and they also help a hunting rifle chamber fresh cartridges with ease. Order today and we’ll ship it to you so fast that you’ll say “Wow, that was fast!”
