Nosler Trophy Grade 270 ammo hit the market to rave reviews. One of the faster rounds on the market, the Nosler Trophy Grade line is offering the .270 Winchester round for big game hunters. Nosler chose the Accubond bullets for the .270 Win, making it a perfect round for larger game animals.
The bullets topping these rounds are 130 grains in weight, white polymer tipped, hollow point bonded jacket and core, tapered copper jacket construction, and built with a solid copper boat-tail base. The white polymer tip helps when chambering the round, and protects the lip of the hollow point front end of the bullet, keeping accuracy consistent. That white polymer tip also aids in the expansion of the bullet by pushing back into the lead core as it strikes its target, causing the bullet to mushroom as it continues to penetrate the animal being hunted.
These Nosler Trophy Grade Accu-Bond .270 Winchester rounds use Nosler Brass cases, Federal 210 Boxer primers, and come ready to use in 20 round boxes. In terms of velocity, Nosler .270's scream through the air at 3075 feet per second and hit hard with a muzzle energy of 2,729 foot pounds. Their ballistic coefficient is .435 with an Overall Cartridge Length of 3.340" according to SAAMI Specs. If you're looking for an ideal Big Game Trophy Hunting round to take on your next hunting trip, this is the one for you.
