When you shoot a deer with this cartridge by Aguila, it’s going to wonder if it’s fighting on the wrong side during WWII. That’s the kind of patriotic satisfaction you can only experience when you hunt with the hallowed 30-06 Springfield!
Aguila of Mexico is most famous for their 22 LR ammo, but they certainly know how to load the heavier-hitters. Every component in each cartridge (with the exception of the propellant) is manufactured in-house using premium raw materials. Aguila’s commitment to quality ensures proper firing pin strikes, uneventful feeding and extraction, and a rewarding time at the reloading press if you choose to save their brass.
This round takes deer down with the power of its soft point. The nonmagnetic bullet’s copper jacket makes it hardy enough to achieve deep penetration. Its unjacketed lead tip is all the SP needs in order to excavate a gaping wound column. We’d recommend a heavier bullet for elk, but 150 grains is right in the zone for whitetail. And if you slap a coyote with one of these rounds, it won’t even have time to contemplate WWII before it packs it in.
