Do you want to go varmint hunting with your 300 AAC Blackout rifle in an area that forbids lead bullets? That’s too bad! We sure wish there were something we could do for you … something like shipping you as many boxes of Hornady BLACK ammo as you want. Oh, wait. That’s exactly what we can do for you!

This cartridge features Hornady’s cleverly engineered NTX. First and foremost, that 110 grain bullet doesn’t contain one atom of lead, so you’re good as gold when you hunt on protected land. The NTX has Hornady’s own Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, which is extremely thin to promote break-neck disruption instantly after impact. The NTX’s core is made of frangible copper alloy, and features a nose cavity that holds the tail of the bullet’s polymer tip. Once impact forces the tip inward, ruinous terminal fragmentation is certain to follow. The crows will need chopsticks to pick up the remains.

This round’s lightweight bullet hauls out of a 16” test barrel at a velocity of 2,070 fps. At that rate the NTX ought to arrive at 200 yards at a velocity of 1,540 fps, which gives it more than enough force to display the full potential of its terminal ballistics. New brass, reloadable, noncorrosive, and everything else you should expect from one of America’s greatest ammo makers!
