Details
Hornady utilizes state of the industry loading techniques and peerless quality control protocol in order to make certain that every Frontier round will perform admirably in whichever kind of firearm that can chamber it. This 300 AAC Blackout round’s lower price does not reflect some deficit in its quality, but rather just how efficiently it was manufactured -- because they have optimized their production protocol so meticulously over the course of the past seven decades, Hornady is able to take advantage of a colossal output capacity while still providing the flourish that makes their ammo so great.
This round’s bullet weighs 125 grains, a weight you’ll certainly find familiar if you’ve worked your way through what its caliber has to offer. Its core is uniform, and its jacket is concentric -- that means rewardingly accurate shooting you can enjoy under any circumstances. A first rate primer, propellant, and brass do everything to complement so well-made a bullet’s performance.

Q: Probably a stupid question, but better to ask than be sorry. Although I read that Frontier uses boxer primers are the primers made of steel or brass ? They look like steel but I know looks can be deceiving. The case is brass. I have all three of the Ruger Minis, the Mini-14 in 223/5.56 NATO, the Mini-30 in 7.62x39 and just got the Ruger Tactical in .300 Blackout the owners manuals say be sure to use brass case with brass primer boxer primers as steel can break the firing pin. I have bought All Three Calibers from you but haven’t had a chance to shoot any yet. Will I be OK using Frontier ammo on my Rugers ?? Thank You !! P.S. I’m a new customer but have ( for me normally ) bought Allot of ammo from you. I am VERY impressed with the quality and variety of products you have and the speed that you get them to me !! Well Done !! Keep up the Great work !!

A: Thanks for reaching out Clay, and also for the kind words! Hornady's Frontier label 300 AAC Blackout ammo isn't actually loaded by LAACP (they're not set up to load non-military calibers), and I certainly don't believe this ammo's primers should differ from the usual Hornady fare. But let me just send Hornady a quick email to confirm that this ammo's good for your Rugers. I'll update this comment as soon as I hear back from them.
