This 300 Win Mag cartridge from PMC’s Precision line of ammunition is loaded with Hornady’s 150 grain InterLock. It is a soft point bullet, able to expand dramatically during penetration courtesy of the piece of soft core exposed at its tip. The InterLock’s jacket is specially tapered and weakened by inner grooves in its upper section to ensure consistent expansion, even at lower velocities. The raised ring that embeds the jacket to the InterLock’s one-piece core, as well as its cannelure, ensure that the bullet retains the weight requisite for deep, lethal penetration.
