We are offering this 300 Win Mag hunting ammunition at a discounted price because its bullets are discolored! They came to us that way straight from our supplier. The cosmetic damage really isn’t all that bad – barely noticeable, if we do say so ourselves – and we’re passing the discount on to our favorite dude in the world: you!
Copper Impact is Winchester’s line of lead-free deer and elk ammo. The primers do contain lead styphnate (don’t eat them), but the Copper Extreme Point projectile doesn’t contain any lead at all.
A copper bullet is inherently accurate given its (A) inability to deposit lead fouling in the bore, and (B) lack of any jacket concentricity imperfections (owing to its lack of a jacket altogether). The Copper Extreme Point secures even better accuracy thanks to its large polymer tip, smooth shank, and low-drag boat tail base. Winchester puts the bullet’s G7 BC at 0.185 (G1 0.387). That means you can zero in on 300 yards through 1.5” high sights and expect -9.4” drop at 400; -25.6” drop at 500!
The Copper Extreme Point’s accuracy is matched only by its lethality. The wide base of its larger polymer tip greatly accelerates terminal expansion and resultant energy transfer, and the outstanding ruggedness of its all-copper construction facilitates deeper penetration on game. You can pin down bucks with authority wherever you go, including areas where lead bullets are strictly ixnayed!
