This round’s 150 grain soft point bullet is Hornady’s own InterLock. It gets its name from its InterLock ring, which physically anchors its streamlined profile jacket to its one-piece alloyed lead core. In addition to possessing the capacity for deep penetration, the InterLock features a progressively tapered jacket with a symmetrically notched rim. It ensures wider expansion at lower velocities, so you can really test the limits of your 350 LGND rifle’s long-distance accuracy.
You’re obviously not bagging deer at 500 yards with this ammo, but it does a fine job within the 350 LGND’s conventional effective range of 200-250 yards. Its sleek and balanced InterLock rockets out of a 24” barrel at a velocity of 2,500 fps, which gives it the 0.233 G1 BC it needs to land on a 200-yard target with nearly 1,000 ft lbs of force.
