Want to make your own 360 Buckhammer ammo? It’s easy! Just shorten, neck up and remove the taper from a 30-30 case, plunk a .358 cal bullet into it, and you’re on your way! Or you could just take the easier route and order yourself some 360 BHMR ammo by Federal Premium.
Federal’s Power-Shok ammo gets straight to the point. You could use this ammo for target shooting – we certainly wouldn’t try to stop you – but its 180 grain jacketed soft point projectiles can only exhibit all of their talents if you sink them through deer hide. The bullet’s jacket gives it the fortitude it needs in order to avoid violently fragmenting apart during impact. Its lead core’s exposure at the tip supplies the terminal expansion.
This Boxer-primed and reloadable ammo is loaded with new brass cases. They make handloading 360 BHMR much easier than if you had started out with 30-30 brass.
