This .38 Special cartridge is loaded with a 177-grain ARX projectile, a unique design made exclusively by Polycase. The bullet is cast using a mix of powdered copper and polymer resin. That mixture is carefully calibrated to remain solid when impacting soft targets, but fragment when hitting steel or other hard objects. This means they can be used both for personal defense and target shooting. Furthermore, their lead-free design is environmentally friendly and should raise no eyebrows at ranges which prohibit the use of lead-based projectiles.
