Details

This 45 ACP cartridge by Black Hills Ammunition features one of the most distinct self-defense projectiles on the market: the HoneyBadger by Lehigh Defense. But this is no gimmick projectile – it’s brutal to the game or threat on its receiving end!

The HoneyBadger is a solid copper bullet. That means no lead fouling of the barrel, no core/jacket separation, and an extremely light 135 grain bullet weight which conveys an exceptionally fast muzzle velocity of 1,250 fps. As the result this monolithic bullet promotes greater accuracy, deeper penetration of soft tissue, and low recoil followed by extreme kinetic energy transferral on impact.

The HoneyBadger is also highly reliable because it lacks a nose cavity that could become clogged up with fabric or other debris. The sharp edges forming the HoneyBadger’s tip enable it to pass through barriers quite easily, in fact!

Once the HoneyBadger plunges into its target, its radial flutes engage any soft tissues they come into contact with, pressurize them, and then divert them outward at a velocity which exceeds that of the bullet itself. The product is a cavernous wound cavity – i.e. a quick conclusion to a once dangerous altercation.

This is a premium, American-made self-defense round. Black Hills’ best components are expertly loaded to ensure seamless functionality in all 45 ACP firearms. Your semi-auto should have zero issues cycling ammo with such lightweight bullets!
