Details
This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Sellier & Bellot features a 131 grain soft point projectile. The bullet’s CuZn 10 jacket stops just short of its tip to reveal its soft lead core. This permits the bullet to rapidly deform and tumble through a game animal’s body upon impact, providing terminal performance comparable to a hollow point’s for great stopping power. This round’s very fast 2,740 fps muzzle velocity further bolsters its ability to drop rugged game fast, and it retains more than half of that velocity 400 yards out.
Sellier & Bellot has continually operated for nearly 200 years, and their experience shines in this finely crafted round. Its factory fresh reloadable brass casing has been formed according to exact tolerances, its Boxer primer is sensitive and uniform, and its propellant burns clean so it will be easy on your action and bore. Whether you would use these 20 rounds for hunting or for honing your aim, you’ll be certain to approve of their exemplary performance.

Q: Do you think the 131sp would shoot flat enough to take varmints at 700 yds with a 6.5 creedmoor, 26" bull barrel.

A: Hi Davis. Thanks for looking to BulkAmmo.com for your ammo questions! That would be a perfect round for the 700 yard range on thin skinned varmints.
