This round’s bullet is nice and heavy at 175 grains, so it’s going to give you more of that wind-resistant momentum you want for accurate long-distance shooting. The open tip match is also an inherently accurate bullet, as its exceedingly concentric copper jacket and form-fitted lead core possess virtually zero flaws which could throw off its balance in flight.

Despite what its appearance suggests, the OTM is not a true hollow point and is incapable of terminal expansion. These rounds will do great if you’re putting their accuracy to work for varmint hunting, but they should not be used for taking deer outside of survival scenarios.
