Speer and Federal Premium aren’t the only companies that load ammunition for law enforcement officers. Hornady also got in on that action – and this is your chance to order the Nebraskan company’s coveted Critical Duty 10mm Auto ammo!
This round defeats the threat with the power of its 175 grain FlexLock projectile. The jacketed hollow point gets its name from two of its performance-enhancing features: the Flex Tip polymer insert which shields its nose cavity against debris that could clog it, and the InterLock band which prevents excessive core/jacket separation during high-velocity penetration of barriers and soft tissue. These are both reasons why the FlexLock scores so splendidly during the FBI tactical handgun ammunition tests.
This ammo’s brass cases aren’t nickel plated for aesthetic purposes. Nickel protects the underlying brass from tarnishing, and also helps a semi-automatic function more dependably. The final touch is low-flash propellant, which minimizes light emission during ignition – added assurance that you’ll continue being able to see the target after squeezing off your first shot.
