Is your farm becoming a rat resort? Little gnaw marks marking everything gnawable, doots in places where there should not be doots, and unsettling scurrying sounds emanating from the rafters? You need a round like a shotgun’s to deal with such nimble pests, but not one so powerful that you would blow a hole through the wall of one of your out buildings. For that, we wholeheartedly recommend this 22 LR round by CCI.
This round is loaded with 31 grains of #12 shot. That would come out to 25 pellets of #7.5 shot, but #12 is so small that even a little 22 can hold approximately 170 pellets. Aim your rifle or pistol at an offending rodent with this round in its chamber and you’ll summon a veritable hailstorm of lead that’ll make said rodent a problem no longer. It’s also effective on birds and snakes!
CCI didn’t spare this unconventional load their premium rimfire components, and with its plastic tip you can count on seamless extraction after every shot. This round is better off in a revolver or bolt action, however, as it won't cycle a semi-automatic. A great low recoil solution for introducing a youngster to shooting as well!
