Make no mistake: This ammo isn’t for fighting enemies on the prairie. This 223 Rem ammo by Sierra turns you into the enemy of things that live out on the prairie. Ground squirrels, prairie dogs and woodchucks all greatly dislike anyone who orders this case of ammo!

See this round’s green tipped bullet? That’s Sierra’s BlitzKing, which delivers explosive expansion inside of varmints. The bullet’s hard acetyl resin tip creates a very sharp meplat until it reaches its destination. As it collides with a varmint, it jams inward to force the BlitzKing’s very thin jacket outward in a violent exhibition of expansion and fragmentation.

Sierra’s consistent bullet tip, copper jacket, lead core and base all add up to great accuracy. Here’s a 223 Rem bullet with a 0.271 G1 ballistic coefficient, so it drops very little as it remains supersonic until about 778 yards. A 500 yard varmint gets his block knocked off with about 337 ft lbs of energy!

Sierra’s nickel-plated brass case is a great quality of life feature. Slick nickel works to prevent feeding jams in a semi-auto, and it resists corrosion when the day’s hunt decides to treat you to a little rainfall. American-made, non-corrosive, expertly loaded and above all else deadly – deadly to varmints!

A: Yes sir, nickel-plated brass is reloadable! Just take care that nickel is harder and can accelerate wear and tear on dies.
