The 300 AAC Blackout cartridge wasn’t designed for deer hunting. But you were designed for deer hunting – and if you’ve chosen to take your trophy with your 300 BLK modern sporting rifle, then God bless you, you deserve the best of the very best ammo. That’s why we’re offering you a whole case of it.
This Fusion MSR series 300 BLK cartridge features Federal’s own Fusion soft point projectile. The bullet is created when its lead core is submerged in an electrically charged chemical bath, which fuses it to a thin copper shell. The result is a true bonded jacket which abstains from separating from the core during high-velocity penetration. A bullet that retains its weight so effectively is capable of inflicting a consistently deep wound channel. The bullet also behaves like a traditional soft point in that it rapidly expands to inflict maximal damage to its recipient.
The Fusion SP projectile doesn’t merely have its concentric jacket to thank for its outstanding accuracy. Federal’s premium brass case assures optimal alignment with the rifling before their high-quality primer and propellant tend to reliable ignition. This ammo is engineered to function correctly in conjunction with an MSR’s free-floating firing pin. Its low-flash propellant is similarly suited for short-barreled firearms.
This is supersonic ammo. Its 150 grain bullet clears the muzzle at 1,900 fps and should remain supersonic until approximately 450 yards.
