Details
Hornady’s BLACK line of ammunition works reliably in a variety of firearms, making it a versatile choice no matter what types of rifles you’re bringing along to the range or a competition. This 300 AAC Blackout cartridge features a 208 grain A-MAX projectile, and is subsonic so you may enjoy discreet training with it and especially subtle performance while utilizing it in conjunction with a silencer.
The A-MAX represents the totality of Hornady’s thorough research into ballistics and offers several performance enhancing features. The bullet’s swaged lead core is remarkably uniform in density, which stabilizes it in flight, as does its AMP jacket with its virtually perfectly uniform wall thickness. This bullet’s boat tail design and secant ogive profile work in conjunction to drastically heighten its ballistic coefficient, improving its accuracy and flattening its trajectory. Finally, the bullet’s ultra low-drag tip balances its center of pressure relative to its center of gravity to optimize its in-flight stability. Along with this round’s sensitive primer and first run reloadable brass casing, Hornady provides just what is needed to dominate in any competitive shooting event.
