Details
Hornady’s American Gunner label stands for a lot of things: great value, consistent performance, functionality in any firearm, and the reputation for excellence that its manufacturer has rightly earned over the course of over seven decades. This 308 Win round is going to let you shoot however you’d like to at the range.
This cartridge’s 155 grain projectile is a boat tail hollow point. Its tapered base serves to preserve greater momentum downrange, and to keep the bullet’s trajectory flatter so that you too can put “ten bullets through one hole” just like Hornady’s motto. This isn’t a hunting bullet -- its hollow point meplat is highly ballistically efficient, but won’t cause significantly greater damage during penetration than an FMJ could have.
These rounds’ new brass shell casings are ideal for handloading. You can store them in the polymer field box that the cartridges come in, which is sturdy enough to give you years of reliable service.
