Maybe there is such a thing as a natural deadeye, as far as we know, but all the best shooters we’ve ever met have shared one thing in common: They’ve gone through a lot, and we mean an absolute boatload, of ammo. Naturally, firing a pistol all day can get a little spendy, but it doesn’t have to be if you fire affordable ammo. That is exactly what Federal’s American Eagle ammo is, but it still offers the quality you need to get the best experience out of your valuable time at the range!
This 40 S&W cartridge is capped off with a 180 grain projectile, the original bullet weight for its caliber. Also like the original 40 S&W, this round delivers a subsonic muzzle velocity, one which won’t be too harsh on your ears. This bullet’s full metal jacket will prevent it from becoming a pain due to a feeding malfunction, and will further spare your bore from accumulating a lot of lead residue. This round’s brass casing is just as good as a premium one’s, and ready to be reloaded again and again.
