Details
6.5 Creedmoor isn’t the kind of ammo that you just haphazardly dump into close-range targets. You put plenty of thought into each round before you gently squeeze the trigger, which is why you’ll make good use of this precision 6.5 CM ammunition by Sellier & Bellot of the Czech Republic!
This cartridge is topped by a hollow point boat tail. The bullet’s 142 grain weight gives it a muzzle velocity of 2,625 fps out of a 23.5” barrel. Its form-fitted lead core and concentric copper-alloy jacket mean it has excellent rotational stability. Its sleek jacket profile and angled base both greatly reduce in-flight drag. Everything adds up to give the HPBT a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.553 (or G7 BC of 0.278, to be more accurate in light of its boat tail). The bullet’s flat trajectory and supersonic performance well beyond 1,000 yards both speak for themselves!
The HPBT is not intended for hunting. Sure, you could easily polish off any varmint with the bullet, but it will not expand if you sink it into a deer. Each nonmagnetic round in this set of 10 boxes includes a noncorrosive Boxer primer and freshly minted reloadable brass case.
