This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Winchester has got all your long-distance shooting and three gun competition needs covered. It delivers incredible accuracy courtesy of its 125 grain open tip projectile, a bullet with a uniformly dense core that conformed to the contours of its jacket while still molten. This bullet’s narrow hollow point meplat generates very little drag in flight, as does its flat base, and its thin copper jacket is drawn to a high standard of concentricity to even further improve its rotational stability.
A USA Ready round evinces all of Winchester’s extensive loading experience. The American Legend exerts strict control over all of this round’s supporting components, and as such have given it a match grade primer that reliably sparks up, a consistent charge of clean burning propellant that generates a predictable chamber pressure, and a perfectly drawn and tapered brass casing which will offer a handloader with ongoing value.
