Details
This is potatoes and gravy ammo for any 7.62x51 rifle – and because 7.62x51 is loaded to an ever so slightly lower pressure than commercial 308 Win, it’s also a fine choice for an AR-10, Springfield M1A, Ruger Precision Rifle, or whatever else you might find yourself armed with.
Prvi Partizan stuck to the classic M80 specs in designing this ammo, which means it sports a middleweight FMJBT projectile. That’s nothing particularly fancy – just a solid lead core, the gilding metal jacket a semi-auto needs if it’s to feed at its most reliable, and a tapering base which reduces in-flight drag. Prvi Partizan may be based in Eastern Europe, but they don’t include any steel in their bullets that could pose a greater threat or ricocheting or sparking when it hits a hard surface.
This ammo is loaded to military specs, but it’s certainly not old military surplus. It offers brand new and unadulterated brass cases, sensitive Boxer primers which won’t deposit corrosive salts inside your rifle, and clean burning propellant to cut down on carbon fouling.
This ammo is hermetically sealed in a plastic sleeve, so you could theoretically store it in your tropical fish tank if you wanted to.
