Details
Along with the 9mm, the 8mm Mauser is one of very few calibers used by both sides during the Second World War. We’ll let you guess which of the two is more widely used today, but this is to say nothing against the 8mm Mauser; It’s still a fine cartridge, especially when it’s made by Prvi Partizan.
This round features a 198 grain projectile, just like the standard s.S. Patrone used by Germany during WWII. Also like its predecessor, this bullet features a boat tail to upgrade its ballistic coefficient. As the result you can count on a flatter trajectory from this bullet, coupled with a faster velocity downrange and less susceptibility to wind drift.
This cartridge’s carefully tapered brass casing will cycle and seat reliably in any rifle capable of chambering it, no matter how antique it might be. Prvi Partizan uses modern Boxer primers which will neither produce corrosive chemicals upon ignition nor complicate handloading, and their propellant is loaded consistently to deliver a stable 2,181 fps muzzle velocity.
