Details

Silvertip ammunition represents a great balance between cost and performance. Winchester’s colorfully named self-defense ammo has remained popular going back for at least 30 years, and the technology that has gone into it has only gotten better over time. If you need to protect yourself and your own, you can trust the job to this 9mm round.

This cartridge features a 115 grain jacketed hollow point projectile. While the bullet is in your firearm, its jacket is promoting smooth feeding and preventing barrel fouling. While it is in the air, it’s creating a flat trajectory courtesy of its supersonic muzzle velocity. While it is in a target, it’s rapidly expanding at a reliable rate to exert maximum energy while delivering a wide wound cavity.

Winchester gives Silvertip rounds first run brass shell casings for unproblematic cycling. Their primers are non-corrosive to keep your pistol from rusting, and their propellant provides a steady muzzle velocity for predictable shot-to-shot performance. Order this case, hope you’ll never need it, and feel confident that you’ve got it!

A: Thanks for reaching out Dave! Winchester doesn't load magnetic handgun ammunition, so their Silvertip 9mm is good to go at a range that bans magnetic ammo. (The Silvertip bullet has a nickel-plated copper jacket, both nonferrous metals.)
