Aguila bills their label 22 LR ammunition as a tin can’s worst enemy! But this ammo is no friendlier to bottles, paper plates, proper range targets, and newspaper comics pages with all of your least favorite characters circled in red ink. (Sorry, Mr. Dithers from Blondie, but you’ve had it coming a long, long time.)

The lead round nose is the simplest bullet a 22 LR round can have. It’s an economical yet accurate little bolt of lead, with a round nose that helps a semi-auto feed smoothly and which also boasts good aerodynamics. This round’s 1,130 fps muzzle velocity is just barely supersonic, but it will issue a hearty cracking report as it leaves a rifle barrel. An LRN doesn’t expand if it sinks into a varmint, so it’s best reserved for only the smallest yard invaders.
