2000 Rounds of 22 LR Ammo by CCI Rimfire Shotshell - 31gr #12 Shot

It was three in the morning. A moonless night. I was in my backyard encouraging my puppy to pee there instead of on the kitchen floor, when all of a sudden I noticed two sinister eyes gleaming at me from under the azalea bush. In a flash, it advanced on me: the meanest rat ever to walk the earth.

Fortunately, I brought my gun. Not the 44 Magnum, or the 358 Norma Magnum, or even the 22 Magnum. I unholstered my trusty 22 LR handgun, loaded with none other than CCI Rimfire Shotshells.

The nefarious rodent didn’t stand a chance. Upon squeezing the trigger, I lobbed 1/15 ounces of #12 lead shot at the critter. And folks, it’s called “rat shot” for good reason. One well-placed shot bored dozens of holes into the brute, killing it right on the spot. My puppy gave it a sniff. If she were capable of saying “He’s dead, Doug,” she would have. (My name is Doug.)

Thank goodness I can count on my CCI Rimfire Shotshells to keep me safe. I especially appreciate how they have rounded plastic domes for tips instead of crimped case mouths, which promotes smoother feeding and ejection. Thank goodness I had also read CCI’s important warnings about this ammo:
