You can never have too much 22 LR ammo! You won’t just ensure you have precisely what you need to plink all day and keep on plinking. If there’s ever a catastrophe, you’ll be making delicious stew while everyone else is waiting in the bread line!
This Remington 22 Golden Bullet cartridge’s 36 grain copper-plated hollow point is a true jack of all trades. It feeds easily into any make and model of firearm. Its copper plating helps it minimize barrel fouling, which will conserve your firearm’s accuracy and make your life easier when the time comes to clean it. Its nose cavity equips the bullet to deliver terminal expansion inside its target. And because the lightweight projectile’s muzzle velocity is so fast, it will produce a flat trajectory and generate enough pressure to operate a semi-automatic.
If you’re aiming to 50 yards with this ammo, you’ll get about -5.7” drop at 100 yards downrange. The bullet reaches 50 yards with approximately 95 ft lbs of energy, which is more than enough to anchor any small game animal. All of this is assuming you’re firing a rifle. Expect a significantly lower muzzle velocity out of a pistol!
