Treat your corrosive ammo responsibly! It won’t dissolve your rifle while you’re still holding it, but it will cause rust to ruin its metal parts unless you follow proper cleaning protocol after firing it.
This sealed spam can of 30-06 ammo hails from the country of Romania, where it was loaded specifically for hunting applications. As a soft point, the round’s 150 grain projectile is engineered to widen out and tumble around as it passes through soft tissue. That will track a deadly wound channel through a buck’s torso, but this ammo’s priced right for target shooting as well.
This ammo’s airtight and watertight steel container makes it perfect for camping and prepping. Even its primers are sealed to prevent rainwater from accessing its propellant charges. Brass-cased ammo usually performs cleaner and more reliably than its steel-cased counterparts, but do take care that these rounds’ Berdan primers make handloading far more difficult.
We have not ascertained whether this ammo’s projectiles will attract a magnet. We have not yet recorded its muzzle velocity, either.
