Are you looking for an edge the next time you shoot a round of trap or sporting clays? Say hi to Federal Premium’s High Over All series 12 Gauge ammunition, which combines all of the old Minnesotan company’s highest-quality components! With it you can split open clays like you were some kind of machine that was specifically designed to split open clays.
This shell’s 461 #8 shot pellets were all carefully screened at the factory to ensure total uniformity of shape and diameter. The lead pellets contain a high percentage of antimony – another heavy metal which hardens lead to prevent the kind of deformation that loosens pattern density. The shot is cradled by the Podium wad, which has a unique circular midsection that promotes lower recoil and further protects the shot against deformation. The Podium makes a clean break from the shot column upon expulsion from the muzzle.
Federal’s shells are always reloadable, but a High Over All hull offers something special: a pure brass cap. The supple metal makes the cap far easier to reshape than a brass-plated steel one. Better yet, a High Over All hull is perfectly compatible with a wide range of different wads.
