They resist deformation as they are accelerated to a very fast 1,550 fps muzzle velocity, so you can trust them to stay spherical enough for tight patterning. Steel may lack lead’s high density, but it easily compensates for that drawback when it comes out of the muzzle so hard.
This ammo’s reloadable hulls are outfitted with temperature-stable powder, and primers that withstand exposure to damp wetland environments. You can reload this ammo, too. Remember: this is a 3” magnum round! That extra power comes at the cost of higher recoil, and it’ll only work in a shotgun with a 3” or longer chamber.
