You’re not the kind of hunter who would just go to Mr. Goose’s home and litter it with toxic lead shot, are you? Of course not. You’re far too considerate, and you hate paying hefty fines, too. But you don’t want just any steel-loaded shotshells -- you want this premium ammo from Winchester’s DryLok Super Steel label!
This long shell is loaded with 1 1/2 ounces of BBB steel shot. It’s plated, so damp goose habitat won’t corrode it to diminish its accuracy. The heavy wad that pushes the shot out of the muzzle at a fast velocity of 1,475 fps protects the bore from etching, and promotes an even tighter pattern than impressively spherical shot could achieve on its own.
A soggy environment is simply no match for a DryLok shell. Its primer is not only lacquered to keep moisture from seeping into the propellant, but it also features a two-piece double seal wad system to keep water from damaging your shell’s sensitive components before you need them. That seal contributes to this shell’s fast muzzle velocity, which compensates for steel’s relatively low density, as well!
