Not everyone is cut out to shoot trap and skeet with a 410 Bore shotgun. Naturally, you are special. These shotshells are great for roughing up clay pigeons, and they’re also a fine way to have a bit of fun with a revolver.
American Tactical is based in Summerville, SC, but these 410 shells are neither American nor suitable for self-defense. They are made in Italy – a respected country in the shotshell manufacturing world – and they are loaded with approximately 293 tiny #9 shot pellets. So many pellets supply the thick pattern which makes demolishing a soaring clay just a little bit easier!
The lead shot pellets are cradled by a wad with a hinged base, which serves to prevent recoil energy from flattening them as they are accelerated to supersonic velocity. The same wad also absorbs a little recoil energy before it can reach your hands and shoulder.
These noncorrosive and clean-igniting shells feature clear plastic hulls. They are reloadable, although their roll crimps necessitate the use of overshot cards.
